We believe that all of Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness (2 Tim. 3:16). As a result of this conviction, you can expect expository preaching where the text of Scripture is central every week.
Our worship services are intentional in every element. We seek to worship God as He has laid out in His Word and to set forward the story of redemption in every service. This means that we pray, sing, and hear God's Word preached every week, and we partake of the sacrament of the Lord's Supper regularly. We sing both contemporary music and traditional hymns in a contemporary style.
We seek to welcome sinners as Christ has welcomed us—in grace, in truth, in love, and for the glory of God (Rom. 15:7). This means that we strive to build a welcoming community where people can find their purpose as part of the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:12–27) and be united in the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ—no matter where they have come from or what they have been through. As our mission statement says, we may not be the church for everybody, but we are the church for anybody.
Every other week before our 10 am Sunday service, we serve breakfast in our cafe, starting at 8:45, as a way to gather for fellowship before the service. Every Sunday afternoon, we gather together again to fellowship and study God's Word.
When you visit, you’ll find people dressed in many different ways—some in their Sunday best, others in comfortable, casual clothing. We don’t gather together to impress one another but to worship the Lord, who looks on the heart (1 Sam. 16:7). Regardless of what you wear, we encourage you to come with your heart prepared to sing God's praises and hear His Word preached.
We believe that Sunday is the Lord's Day, to be set aside for rest and worship. After worshiping together on Sunday mornings, we gather again in the afternoon for a time of Bible study, singing, teaching, and prayer as we grow together in Christ. All ages are welcome!
